Baby Cap Tree
March 2007  -  The PW’s baby cap tree is becoming covered with knitted and crocheted baby caps that will be shipped to hospitals in Malawi, Africa.  Many of the women of the church have entered into this mission by knitting one or two or twenty or forty of the tiny caps.  These caps are used by the clinics in Malawi to encourage mothers to be to seek prenatal care.  The production of the tiny caps will continue through the month of March and will then be mailed overseas.  It has been a fun project and all have enjoyed watching our baby cap tree grow with the tiny stocking caps.
