KEY HOLDER POLICY

The following people will be allowed to have keys to the facility: Pastor; Elders; Deacons; Persons involved with the church program in some way, such as routine maintenance, secretary, etc. Each person will need to be approved by Session; Leaders of community groups regularly using our facility such as Eastside Neighborhood Center, Scouts, etc; Buchanan School, as part of their Crisis Evacuation Plan; and, the Pastor of First Baptist Church.

Those holding a key shall not loan it to anyone without approval from the head of Buildings and Grounds or Session.

If a person loses a key, it is the responsibility of that person to let the head of Buildings and Grounds know as soon as possible.

There will be extra keys for lending purposes such as for one-time events, snow removal, etc. These keys shall be returned as soon as possible to the head of Buildings and Grounds.

When a person with a key no longer fits one of the above categories, they will be expected to return their key.
